Wrapped in Courage Campaign
Help Us End Violence Against Women
November is Woman Abuse Prevention Month. The purple scarf is a symbol of the courage it takes a woman to leave her abuser. However, the courage of the woman is not enough. It takes the support of an entire community to end violence against women.
This year, the Wrapped in Courage campaign is not selling purple scarves; we are shifting our donation ask to the convenience of your mobile phone. All you need to do is text the word ‘COURAGE’ to 41010 or use the tool below to donate $5-$25.
Every dollar raised will be evenly distributed to participating women’s shelters across the province.
You can also help us build campaign momentum by visiting the Campaign website: wrappedincourage.ca
We are also selling purple scarves and ties for $15 each. All proceeds going to YWCA Sudbury Genevra House. Contact Ashley at 705-673-4754 ext 310 or by email, firstname.lastname@example.org.
