A night to recognize and celebrate trailblazers, role models, door openers, challengers of the status quo, and champions of gender equality.
The first ever Women of Distinction Virtual Awards Gala brings a bite-sized celebration of inspirational and impressive local women from right here in Sudbury directly to you to enjoy in the comfort of your home.
2020’s Young Woman of Distinction, the incredible Jalee Pelissier, will lead you through a wonderful evening including opening remarks by Mayor Brian Bigger and Le Loup’s Marie-Gil Talbot, upbeat entertainment by local band “Twenty-One”, a beautiful door prize provided by Trek Jewellers, an interactive digital Silent Auction, and, of course, our awards ceremony honouring this year’s amazing award recipients and the impact they have made in the lives of other women in our community.
If you’ve been searching for an evening of feel-good vibes and something to reinvigorate your passion and drive, look no further. All proceeds go towards YWCA Sudbury’s Youth Conferences, Power of Being a Girl and Boys 4 Real, to empower grade 7 & 8 student from local schools.
