Help Us End Violence Against Women
November is Woman Abuse Prevention Month. The purple scarf is a symbol of the courage it takes a woman to leave her abuser. However, the courage of the woman is not enough. It takes the support of an entire community to end violence against women.
This year’s Wrapped in Courage campaign purple scarves are Fair Trade and handcrafted using Merino wool and recycled Sari skirts by marginalized artisans who are passionate about ethical manufacturing and human rights. Just like survivors of gender-based violence across Ontario, each Wrapped in Courage 2023 Campaign Purple Scarf is unique!
Every dollar raised goes towards supporting the important services provided by participating women’s shelters, like Genevra House, across the province.
